Unboxing: Uppercase Box (March 2017).

This month’s Uppercase was super exciting! I totally didn’t know what to expect in this month’s box. I wasn’t even thinking it could be a Beauty and the Beast inspired title . . . everything seems to be tied to Beauty and the Beast this month, which is really cool, but I didn’t put two and two together until after seeing the book – now I’m seeing everything tying to the release of the live action movie.

The March box included:

  • A signed hardcover of Hunted by Meagan Spooner
  • A Hunted bookmark (not shown)

I’m far from a bookstagrammer and can’t take photos to save my life, but this picture obviously doesn’t give the book cover justice. Absolutely stunning!

I know this is a highly anticipated book, and it’s been on my wishlist for awhile now and was so surprised to see it for this month. I almost bought it but thought I’d wait,  🙂

Can’t wait to read it!

Unboxing: Uppercase Box (February 2017).

This month, Uppercase teamed up with Epic Reads to delivery a one of a kind box. Pretty sweet! And of course it’s February, so you think of Valentine’s Day and “love,” so of course the book has to reflect that!  ❤  From my understanding, this book is previously only published in paperback, so the hardcover is Uppercase exclusive only!

The February box included:

  • A signed hardcover of By Your Side by Kasie West
  • A Valentine’s card related to the book
  • An “I  ❤ YA” sticker from Epic Reads

I’m really not big on contemporary reads, so I don’t know how I feel about this one. It sounds really cute, so whenever I feel like reading something light and fluffy, I’ll definitely pick this one up,  😀

Unboxing: Uppercase Box (January 2017).

I am so excited over this month’s Uppercase Box! This was a title that I got on NetGalley – they had an offer of the first 300 or so are instantly approved – however, it had a different cover (equally as gorgeous,  😍). I’m so glad to have a physical copy now!

The January box included:

  • A signed hardcover of Frostblood by Elly Blake
  • A Frostblood magnet

I am in love with this cover! Every edition I have seen of Frostblood has an absolutely gorgeous cover. My favorite is the UK edition.

Hopefully, I can start this book soon!  🙂

Unboxing: Uppercase Box (December 2016).

I absolutely love Uppercase. There are so many great books that I’ve gotten . . . some that I have not heard of, some that I would’ve never gotten for myself, and some that were anticipated. This month was one of those anticipated titles!  🙂

I’ve been hearing a lot about this book. It was on my to read list that I keep on my phone. You know, the long list of books that you want to read but might never get around to reading because there are so many others that you’re anticipating just as much.

Or is that just me?  😀

Anyway, this was a title I had my eyes on for awhile. I’m so glad I got it! And Uppercase got new bags that they package their books in. Way too cute! Check it out.

The December box included:

  • A signed hardcover of Ever the Hunted by Erin Summerill
  • An Ever the Hunted temporary tattoo

I absolutely love white covers! This is a new little development of mine . . . my little obsession with white covers. It started last month when I saw the Owlcrate exclusive of Heartless, and having gotten The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon and the UK edition of Nevernight.

After adding the book to my Goodreads, I realized that Ever the Hunted technically doesn’t get released until December 27, 2016 so I think that’s pretty cool that Uppercase subscribers got a finished copy early!  🙂

Unboxing: Uppercase Box (November 2016).

I’ve been considering canceling my Uppercase subscription, but every time I think about it . . . I keep thinking of all the books that I could be missing out on. Signed books, too. That alone is a wonderful benefit,  🙂

While I am disappointed that I didn’t get this month’s Owlcrate – zomg! no spoilers, but I hope to trade for that exclusive cover eventually (if they don’t get any additional stock in) – I’m glad that I haven’t canceled Uppercase yet.

The November box included:

  • A signed hardcover of The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon
  • A The Sun Is Also a Star tattoo – “Love Always Changes Everything.”
  • Veronica Roth’s Carve the Mark chapter sampler

Both of Nicola Yoon’s book covers are beyond gorgeous! I love white covers with bright colors and this nails it! I haven’t read Everything, Everything yet but I’ve heard good things about Nicola Yoon so I’m excited to read both of these titles of hers.

Also, I am wanting Carve the Mark so badly! I cannot wait. Patience. Virtue.

Unboxing: Uppercase Box (October 2016).

Yet another month that I had no idea what to expect in this month’s Uppercase. I understand that Owlcrate had the same book this month, too, and I know Owlcrate reveals a “theme” for the month. However, I never put two and two together considering I didn’t know much about the book in this month’s box.

The October box included:

  • A signed hardcover of Vassa in the Night by Sarah Porter
  • An Erg sticker

I don’t understand the sticker reference . . . I am assuming it’s a reference to a character in the book. But it’s a super adorable sticker.

Vassa in the Night is a book that I have been hearing good things about for awhile now, and it was added to my to-read list not too long ago. I was so excited when it came in this month’s box!

And look at that cover! Absolutely gorgeous. From what I understand, it’s a “re-telling” but not an actual re-telling. I don’t know but I do know it’s definitely one I’m excited to read!

Unboxing: Uppercase Box (September 2016).

I had no idea what to expect in this month’s Uppercase. I knew roughly of some of the titles that were released, but hadn’t really heard of many nor did I think some of the ones that were released would be in this month’s box. I was completely taken by surprise because a) not a contemporary (yay!) and b) a title I heard absolutely nothing about.

The September box included:

  • A signed hardcover of The Forgetting by Sharon Cameron
  • An adorable little notebook with The Forgetting cover

This book is absolutely gorgeous and the picture gives it no justice at all. Even the spine is beautiful (I’m a sucker for spines that are colorful and have designs) with bright gold.

I am really interested in reading this book, it sounds really good and it’s definitely the type of thing I’ll enjoy reading!  🙂
